
Jeff Markuns represents PHCPI. He is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and Interim Executive Director, Primary Health Care Performance Initiative (PHCPI). He has been an Attending Physician at Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA since 2002. He is also the Executive Director, Boston University Global Health Collaborative and Founding Director, Health Sciences Education Certificate and Masters program, Division of Graduate Medical Sciences, Boston University School of Medicine. He has extensive experience in teaching and administrative duties at the university. He is also Trustee in the Lesotho-Boston Health Alliance Trust. He is active in the American Academy of Family Physicians and Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He is the Representative, Global health initiatives constituency, Stakeholder Reference Group, Health Data Collaborative, World Health Organization. He is also the Advisory Board member, American Academy of Family Physicians’ Center for Global Health Initiatives and Chair, American Academy of Family Physicians’ Center for Global Health Initiatives. He has 21 refereed publications and many invited presentations . He has extensive experience in grants as principal investigator.
