Kapil Narain

Kapil Narain represents the African Health Education Students Summit (AHESS). He is a multi-award winning youth activist and medical doctor with an unwavering passion for public and primary health, advocacy, and communities. He has served and represented various NGOS and student societies on a local, national, regional and International level. He also has 4 research publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He is currently serving his medical internship at King Edward Hospital in Durban, South Africa. His awards in 2021 were One Young World Ambassador – for his commitment to uplifting societal injustices. Attended the One Young. World summit 2021 as a Pfizer Scholar (Where I was 1 of 50 recipients internationally) and Rising Star award for academia and leadership initiatives, at the South African Health Excellence Awards by the South African Clinician Scientists Society.
