
Associate professor Viviana Martinez Bianchi, originally from Argentina, is Academic Coordinator in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health in Duke University, North Carolina, USA. She has 27 refereed publications as well as 6 Book Chapters. She is active in the USA Academy of Family Physicians and other family medicine organisations. She is active in the advocacy space in USA, especially on the equity and Latin American challenges. She is co-founder of Latinx Advocacy Team and Interdisciplinary Network for COVID-19 in USA. She is also an Additional Member of the WONCA Executive Committee, where she is liaison person for WHO and interacting with global organisations, advocating for family medicine and primary health care. She is standing as President-elect for WONCA.
