A short introduction: Enow Awah Georges Stevens, MD (@Drenowawah) is a Youth Frontline Health Worker, Sexual and Reproductive Health Clinician, and a skilled youth engagement consultant. He has over five years of experience in research and advocacy on global health; HIV/AIDS; and sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (SRMNCAH). He is the Youth Consultant for The Lancet & Financial Times Commission. He has extensive experience in emergency obstetric and neonatal care, family planning, post-abortion care, and clinical care for survivors of sexual violence. He held several positions of responsibility first as a clinician in gynaecology and obstetrics department, then as the manager and senior manager of reproductive health projects in emergency and post-conflict situations in Cameroon and Sub-Saharan Africa. He is a leader in advocating for meaningful youth engagement and the role of young people in sustainable development and decision making. He has provided technical support to Cameroon’s Ministry of Public Health, especially in the national program for Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) by setting standards and guidelines.

Enow Awah’s interest in AfroPHC: I am interested in advocating for meaningful PHC and UHC in hard to reach communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. I wish to add value and connect with the think tank of healthcare workers to bridge the gap between service delivery and patient influx. .
